SCORE SUBMISSIONS & VIDEO GUIDE

The registration for the online qualifiers is now open and it will close at 21:00 (GMT+3:00) on Sunday 30th of August. No late entries will be accepted. All teams will have to submit a link of their video (WeTime/Youtube/Vimeo) after every qualifier WOD. The organisers reserve the right to request a video from any of the competing athletes at any point before the actual main event!

Prior to starting, the team should clearly state the team name, affiliate and country. The plates, barbell and other equipment to be used in the workout should be seen clearly. All video submissions should be uncut and unedited in order to accurately display the performance. A second person with a stopwatch should be in the frame throughout the entire workout. Shoot the video from an angle so all movements can be clearly seen meeting the movement standards. Do NOT move the camera during the workouts!

SCORING  STANDARDS FOR THE QUALIFIERS AND MAIN EVENT

The Teams with the best performance over multiple workouts in the qualifiers and main event wins and/or advances. The winner will be determined by lowest point in total.

Ties on the overall Leaderboard (either for the qualifiers, or main event) will be broken by awarding the best position to the Team who has the highest result in any single workout. If Teams are still tied, the process continues to their next highest single result, and so forth. Ties will not be broken for single event results.

If a Team does not advance to the next workout for any reason (DNF, injury, disqualification, etc.), they will be ranked below all competitors who started that workout and are not eligible to advance to the next stage of competition.

Scaling or modifying the workout is prohibited (unless otherwise stated) and will cause the Team to not advance.

TEAM

Nordic Beach Brawl 2019 is a clean gender team competition consisting of three athletes per team. Each team consists of 3 men or 3 women.

NEW QUALIFIER

For the Nordic Beach Brawl 2019 Online Qualifier each member of the team will do the workout as individuals. The qualifier result will be the total score of each athlete put together. This makes it easier for athletes that live in a different area/town/country to team up and qualify for the Nordic Beach Brawl 2019 Final Event.

How it works: For example if the qualifying workout would be "Fran", each athlete would have to complete the workout individually and their score will be put together into the teams total score for submission (Ex. John - 2:14, Alex - 2:36, Bob - 3:00, Team Total Score: 7:50). Team captain is responsible for submitting video of all wod results.
